gone

yep, he left this morning about the same time that i went to get sophie from seminary.  Our friend Shawn took him all the way down to LAX at 6:30, bless his soul.

About 10 min after i left, i got a call from doug that said that i almost took the keys with Russ' NY apartment key on it. That would have been very bad, but i didn't. Luckily, I grabbed the spare keys. Not so lucky there wasn't a house key on it so i was locked out of the house.  Oh, not to worry, Owen is home with the babies.  i'll just call the house phone and wake him up to let me in.  after about 100 rings on the phone, he wasn't budging.  i went around to our bedroom windows and knocked and banged and smacked the glass and yelled, "Owen!! it's mom, WAKE UP!!!"  Nope, didn't work.  nothing did. So i went ot sophie's window and was able to climb into the house that way.

I am making arrangements today for sophie to get a ride to seminary and school for the next two months.  i just can't leave the babies, especially if Owen is going to be unwakeable.  If anything happened, i'm afraid he'd be useless!  So, that's the goal for today. arrange seminary carpool so that i'm not in it. haha.
